WHO'S REALLY GOT THE X-FACTOR?! YOU DECIDE
WILLIAMS IN WONDERLAND
BEYONCE WANTS EVERYONE TO HAVE A BIT OF HER EGO
| The Grammy Award-winning singer and actress Beyoncé (or Bey, to you & me) has agreed a deal with Coty Inc. (I used to work there!) to develop and launch her debut signature fragrance - "so, thanks Mr. Hilfigure, but I'm going at it on my own" ;) The fragrance hasn't been named yet - but there has been rumours that she cannot use 'fierce' (a la 'Sacha Fierce') due to copyright laws with Abercrome & Finch, but it is still scheduled for release in North and South America in early 2010 (plans to roll it out across Europe and key markets worldwide will happen later in the year). ...Dammit!!! I wished I still worked here - long enough to meet Bey.. Oh well! Another time maybe... |

ALL BLACK EVERYTHAAANG!
PPQ cast the first ever all-black show at London Fashion Week.

WE'RE NOT PLUS SIZE WE'RE NORMAL
Apparantly a stylist at London Fashion Week stormed out of a show after the designer decided to use average-size models in mini-dresses (besides size 0 stick-figures... opps, I mean models)
Fast had been working with size-12 model Hayley Morley for the LFW photography exhibition, All Walks Beyond the Catwalk. It launched on Friday at London's Somerset House with a party attended by Alexandra Shulman, editor of British Vogue, and prime minister's wife Sarah Brown, who admitted she had "sneaked out" of a number 10 reception for British designers she was hosting.
The exhibition features models aged 18 to 65, in sizes 8 to 16, wearing outfits created by young London designers. It aims to change the narrow vision of beauty offered by the fashion world. The size issue is always a sore point within the industry. The 2007 Model Health Inquiry was launched by the British Fashion Council in response to the death from starvation of several models who had been slaves to the size-zero trend. It failed to set out any firm industry guidelines but the debate has gained momentum; this month, plus-size model Crystal Renn launched her autobiography at a glittering Manhattan party and talked of a new vogue for women "lush and sparkly with nary a jutting collarbone in sight"."

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK

ZARAAA-LUJAHHH!!!

RIP PATRICK SWAYZE
IN & OUT OF TROUBLE FOR ONLY 50CENT

ELLE ROSE CALLED AMBER
KANYE BELIEVE IT!!!!
The audience apprantly went wild and boo'ed his ass off stage - poor Taylor was left in shock and slightly heartbroken, I can imagine.
Imagine some crazy ass rapper dude jumping on stage, snatching the mic from you and telling the whole world, what you have worked so friggin hard for isn't worth diddly-squat next to (arguably) the most beautiful woman in the world. Taylor is only... 19, right? She can only dreeeeeam to be anything compared to Bey, but to have that moment, where you thought you were one step closer snathed away from you is the ultimate piss take!!!
Now, Im a big fan of Kanye (pssst! Call me baby! lol) but that just wasn't right. Kanye knows if anyone tried that on him... well... exactly!
Annnnywhoooo, Beyonce later went on to win an award for Video of the Year (for ‘Single Ladies') she... [this is nice] gave up her time to call Taylor up and give her another chance to re-do her acceptance speech without interruption.
Everyone together now... "aaaahhhhh" :)
It doesn't stop there... Oh no!
Kanye later posted an apology on his blog, saying “I’m in the wrong for going on stage and taking away from her moment. Beyonce’s video was the best of this decade…I’m sorry to my fans if I let you down guys… I’m sorry to my friends at MTV … I will apologize to Taylor. I’m still very happy for Taylor. I feel really bad for Taylor and I’m sincerely sorry.”
This must have been after he sobered up or after his publicist kicked the s*** out of him. lol
But wait... there's more!
Kanye went on Jay Leno the night after and apologised on American TV (it takes a big man to do that - no homo! lol)

LIL MAMA GETS A LIL OVER-EXCITED
Lil Mama gate-crashed Jay-Z And Alicia Keys' VMA Performance on Sunday night!
I'm not quite sure what the hell they put in the drinks they were serving at the VMA's LOL!!!
One-time rapper and "America's Best Dance Crew" judge Lil Mama jumped onstage during Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' performance of "Empire State of Mind", completely unannounced and uninvited.
Although Jay looked surprised (I would have too) but continued. Apprantley Jay-Z 'patted Mama on the leg to fall back and even threw in a quick joke, saying, "You T-Paining right now,"' [referring to when T-Pain jumped onstage with Jay-Z at Summer Jam during his "D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune)" performance].
what is wroooong with everyone jumping on stage?!?!?! WAIT YOUR TURN!!!
Lil Mama didn't pay him no mind and when it came to the end of the performance she even ran up to the front and stood beside both Jay & Alicia to do b-girl pose next to them.
