BEYONCE: OFFICIALLY QUEEN OF THE DECADE

Beyonce’s Single Ladies [Put A Ring On It] has been voted best music video of the decade – voted for by fans of the music website Muzu.tv

The second most popular video was Fatboy Slim’s Weapon Of Choice. Madonna’s Hung Up came third, followed by Kylie Minogue’s Can’t Get You Out Of My Head and Eminem’s Stan was voted fifth.

Pretty darn good choices I think - two very concurring thumbs up :)

Think campaign

The Government this week unveiled a series of measures aimed at reducing the budget deficit. It hopes to save £12bn over four years.

ITALIAN TWITPIC

In this month's Vogue Italia [that's Italian Vogue, to you non-bilinguals] a fashion shoot was themed around twitpic.

Awesome idea!

The photographer, Steven Meise, renamed the service "meiselpic" and the photos are styled to look like real-life shots taken on a mobile phone if you were on a night-out, or so.

Waitrose is launching an online forum to help consumers deal with the stresses of hosting a Christmas dinner, also called  'Christmas Affective Disorder', such as 'finding meat for those with dentures' and 'the smell of brussels sprouts.' Errrrrm... Ooookaaaaay...

The forum aims to help shoppers cope with Christmas, and has executive chef Neil Nugent to answer questions from customers.

The forum was created because Waitrose created a survey of 2,050 adults, and found the Top 10 main Christmas stresses:

1.       Wasted food

2.       Mess in the kitchen

3.       Not having enough space around the table

4.       Not having enough food

5.       Burning the Christmas dinner

6.       Children filling up on chocolate and sweets before dinner

7.       Catering for vegetarians or diners with allergies

8.       Guests getting too drunk

9.       The smell of Brussels sprouts

10.      Finding meat for those with dentures

YAHOOOS BEING KIND HERE

Yahoo has launched a social site encouraging web users to perform random acts of kindness in the run-up to Christmas.

The You In? campaign directs people to kindness.yahoo.com where visitors are prompted to post details of their ‘purple’ acts of generosity and inspire others.

People are also encouraged to upload photos of their acts on Flickr, while Yahoo maps shows where they are taking place. Yahoo said it would also take inspiration from those on the site, which also links to ways people can donate to charities.

LINDSEY GOES A BIT MOSSY

Lindsey Lohan has done a great photoshoot with Italian magazine Muse.

I like.
